The Frames Themselves
The lighting is close and unapologetic. Highlights sit hard on the shoulder line and the fabric, shadows fall where they were told to fall, and nothing has been softened after the fact to make the set easier to look at. It reads warm without reading nostalgic.
Her posture carries the set. Chin held rather than tilted, weight settled, hands doing something deliberate instead of decorative. There is a stretch in the middle of the book where she is barely moving between frames and the tension still climbs, which is the hardest thing to pull off in this format and the reason this one is not cheap.
